Jennifer Woolf is the founder and CEO of FigurativeWriting.com and The Children’s Creative Writing Institute. Her mission in life is to make writing fun for elementary school students everywhere. If you want to know what an onomatopoeia is, just ask! Jenn is the author of Adventures in Writing: A FUN Guide to Figurative Language. She is very proud of her association with the Los Angeles Writing Project based at Cal State LA. Jenn has taught in the summer programs at both Cal State Northridge and Cal State LA, as well as having taught afterschool creative writing workshops at Sierra Canyon School.
When not writing or tutoring, you can find Jenn hiking, playing tennis or falling off her surfboard. She lives in Encino, CA with her husband, two daughters and a beagle named Snickers.
